The beach will provide parasols, chairs and wash areas which enhance the beach ambiance. You can relax on the beach and enjoy the sunshine while look up at the spectacular 101 building. It also welcomes children to come play with sand. Organizations can hold activities on the beach. After they apply for it they only have to pay the cleaning fees. If typhoon comes they will cover the beach with plastic canvas. Also the sand can drain the water very well, so it would not cause any bad smell.
Not only Taipei city government, but also Taipei 101 is making some progress. Since lots of Chinese visitors are coming to Taiwan Taipei 101 will cooperate with duty free stores in order to create more business opportunities. 101 building will set up a duty free area inside its shopping center. The sell would be focus on quality goods such as cosmetics, watches, jewelries and Taiwanese keepsakes. Besides 101, SOGO is also negotiating with duty free stores.
