Do you want an unforgettable wedding experience that is different from anywhere else in the world? The Maolin National Scenic Area (NSA) Administration of the Tourism Bureau is hosting the marvelous activity "2008 Austronesian Wedding" at the southern tip of Taiwan, Pingtung. This event is about following the wedding traditions of Taiwanese aboriginals, and this year, the Paiwan Tribe and Rukai Tribe.
Since first Austronesian Wedding in 2005, the unique characteristics have attracted many non-aboriginal Taiwanese couples and many international couples to taken part. There have been recognition and approval from many critics. This traditional wedding ceremony has always been a success and the aboriginal wedding customs has now been turned into a tourist attraction to promote local tourism.
Several unique events will take place in the wedding. These include photo shoots, aboriginal wedding gown runways, nights of traditional songs and dance, and a classical tribe products exhibition. In additional the "Newlyweds- The Seedling of Love" activity will also be held. It allows each couple to plant a seedling in testimony of their love. These events make the couples experience an amazing marriage.
