The fifth Taipei International New row Mian Festival will take place from September 1st.” New row Mian” means “beef noodles”, the event includes best chef competition, counties competition, contribution soliciting and other activities. Among them, the most popular beef noodles carnival will be held on November 14-16. It is a great chance to taste various styles of beef noodles in Taiwan.

Taipei International New row Mian Festival is organized by the Taipei City Department of Economic Development to promote the famous Taiwan cuisine “beef noodles”. This year the Festival will last for 3 months and there are activities of favorite restaurant voting, healthy beef noodles releasing, international culinary contest and restaurant discount on Thursdays in 60 five-star New Row Mian nominations during the period of the Festival.

Beef noodles are easy to been seen in restaurants and stalls in Taiwan, and Taipei is the highest concentration city. It is not only a Taiwan delicacy but also a symbol of Taipei dish. The highlight of the Festival is 3-day carnival of beef noodles. You may attend the Carnival for a bowl of beef noodles from 30 selected restaurants, and understand the culture of this fine cuisine. The best chef and restaurant will also be announced at the Carnival.
